Really great bookbag! Review by Liz
I love this bookbag. It's definitely durable, and it fits all I need in it. I have a 17" Macbook Pro and it fits in the bag great! All the different pockets keep everything organized, and it's also very stylish. Great purchase!! (Posted on 3/10/13)
In my opinion..... Review by Karen
I recieved my chocolate coloured bag about a week ago, and have been using it for my school supplies. So far, it's actually quite amazing! It is bigger than I expected, which is a double bonus because I carry a lot with me; textbooks, notebooks, makeup bag, wallet, waterbottle, pencil case etc. What did upset me was that the colour of the chocolate did NOT look anything alike in the photo. It actually looked more similar to the rust colour, but shaded a tad darker, in my opinion. The exterior of the bag contains two side pockets with button up flaps. I carry santitaion things in one pocket, but am sometimes discouraged as I have a feeling my things will fall out. The other side pocket is quite disappointing, as the hole for the button to attatch itself is too large, hence, the flap of the side pocket always comes undone, so I don't bother using it as it has become quite useless, unless I want an easy access for my things to get stolen ....
Undearneath the buckle flap there are two pockets that I use to hold simple things. I do wish they had a magnetic clasp or a zipper because they are both just a plain open pocket, and the fear of losing my things come to mind. But in fact, nothing has so far and I realized that any item inserted in there fits quite snug. Behind the flap, there is a wide zipper opening where I keep all my heavy duty stuff. Inside the zipper opening, there are two interior pockets, another one without any zipper or metal clasp, and one with a zipper (yay!) The pocket without is very useful, as it is extremely deep and can storage multiple things. The straps are surprisingly very durable, and as said before, not overbearing. The outside black canvas of the bag can easily get dirtied, but nothing a little dab of water can't fix! All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. It did cost more than a regular school backpack, but I'm willing to spend that money on a product that stands out and is best suited for me. I admit, I do adore my bag dearly. (Posted on 9/23/12)
It's as beautifully crafted as pictured Review by Lisa
No doubt, a 5-star purchase for a 5-star crafted bag. I received my hemp backback yesterday and was so very surprised at how true to the picture the crafting, coloring and size were. It's actually larger than I thought it would be with two large pouches on the outside back, two smaller ones with closures on sides for mobile phones, keys, etc. On the inside, there is two very wide pockets--one with a zipper, one without and then the large backpack area.
The leather is absolutely beautiful--soft and so well sewn. The canvas is also beautifully crafted. The straps are durable but not overbearing. It's a snow blizzard here today in Brooklyn, New York, and I don't want to take it out because it's so beautiful! Bravo for providing a genuinely crafted product that supports the women/crafters of Nepal. This is worth far more than $60. I look forward to purchasing more froom EarthLover in the future and will be sure to tell friends. It's far better than it looks in the photo! Thank you for your efforts. Best, Lisa (Posted on 2/26/10)
